European giants Marseille are preparing a meagre £6m for Alfredo Morelos, at least according to a report in France.
The familiar French foe is reportedly interested in signing Morelos to replace their own resident bad boy Mario Balotelli [Daily Record].

But Rangers have already intimated that any fee for the player would need to be at least three times that amount.
Rangers Managing Director Stewart Robertson claimed Rangers value Alfredo Morelos similarly to Celtic’s valuation of Moussa Dembele. Dembele eventually moved to Lyon for
£19.7m.
That means if Marseille realistically wants to sign Alfredo Morelos, they better start getting serious with their transfer fees.
After scoring 29 goals this year, the striker is unlikely to be short of suitors in the summer. The likes of Borussia Dortmund [Sky Sports] and Eintracht Frankfurt (
Daily Express) are also said to be interested.
But having just signed a new contract at Ibrox this year any club who wants to snap the player up will need to pay. And that means coughing up what Rangers expect for the player.

That said, after being suspended for the last three games Rangers have settled into a rhythm without the striker. Upon his return, he’ll need to prove he’s moved on from his petty indiscretions.
But can he win his place in this Rangers side back from Jermain Defoe to begin with? And if he does, can he prove why Rangers value him so highly?
