Rangers-bound Lyall Cameron scored two goals and laid on an assist as Dundee stormed to the 6th round of the Scottish Cup.
Lyall Cameron, 22, was returning to the Dundee side after an Achilles injury kept the midfielder out of the midweek defeat to Celtic.
The Scottish Cup clash against Championship side Airdrieonians was also the first time Lyall Cameron played for Dundee since agreeing the pre-contract move to Rangers.

Lyall Cameron fires Dundee through in Scottish Cup
Dundee manager Tony Docherty has insisted that Lyall Cameron is committed to the Dens Park cause until the end of the season.
The comments come amid a backlash from Dundee fans over Cameron’s decision to move to Ibrox.
But Lyall Cameron shut the naysayers up with an instrumental role in Dundee’s thumping 4-0 victory over Airdrie at Dens Park.
It was Lyall Cameron’s swerving corner that got Dundee into the lead, with the midfielder’s cross finding the head of Clark Robertson after 13 minutes.
Cameron then found himself free in the Dundee box to tap home a deflected second goal after a slack back pass to the Airdrie goalkeeper.
Lyall Cameron was involved again in the build-up as Oluwaseun Adewumi made it three with a cool finish into the bottom of the corner of the Airdrie net.
And it was the Rangers-bound midfielder who completed the rout and sent Dundee in 4-0 in at half-time with his second goal in a MOTM performance.
Cameron led an aggressive Dundee press which eventually resulted in Airdrie gifting them the ball and Simon Murray squaring to the Scotland U21 international on the brink of half-time.
Lyall Cameron ‘100% committed’ to Dundee
Lyall Cameron insists that his Scottish Cup double proves he is fully committed to Dundee until the end of the season.
Cameron, who came through the youth ranks at Dens Park, will remain a key feature of the Dee side until he completes a switch to Rangers this summer.
”Obviously there’s a lot of speculation around what’s happened and stuff,” Cameron told DeeTV.
“But I just wanted to show to everyone that I am 100% committed from here until the end of the season.
”Because the type of person I am not going to give up or slack off a wee bit towards the end of the season.
”That’s not the type of person I am so I am just going to keep giving as best I can and hopefully help the club go as far as possible.”
