Rangers have their own issues to deal with in Scotland, especially surrounding the future of Danny Rohl.
The board have begun to shortlist replacements for Rohl should he end up joining RB Salzburg.

Liverpool announce Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be leaving the club
Liverpool took to X to announce that former Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be leaving the club with immediate effect.
Along with the Dutchman, Sipke Hulshoff and Ruben Peeters will also be parting ways with the Anfield outfit.
The trio were part of Liverpool’s coaching staff last season, but have been made surplus to requirements there.
How long will Danny Rohl be at Rangers?
Andrew Cavenagh has confirmed he will not be sacked ahead of the new season…
That is because Arne Slot has been sacked and Andoni Iraola has been appointed as the Premier League side’s new head coach.
Van Bronckhorst joined Besiktas after he was sacked by the Gers, spending six months at the Turkish club.
He joined Liverpool at the start of last season, but two weeks after Slot’s sacking, he was also shown the door there.

Will van Bronckhorst be considered to replace Danny Rohl at Rangers?
There is an argument to be made that van Bronckhorst was not given enough time at Ibrox.
He took over from Steven Gerrard, and the expectations were unfairly high on him following the title win.
Now, Rangers could be looking at the managerial market again should Rohl decide to leave.
Will Steven Gerrard become the next Rangers manager?
Tam McManus believes Danny Rohl will be sacked…
Talks are ongoing with RB Salzburg, and as there is no release clause in his contract, the Austrian side will have to agree on compensation with the Gers.
In terms of Gio returning to Ibrox, it does not seem likely, as many would view it as a step back.
Also, if the club are turning to former managers, fans would much rather have Steven Gerrard than van Bronckhorst.
The Dutchman is unlikely to return to Ibrox as part of the coaching staff and will perhaps be looking for number one opportunities somewhere or potentially join Slot at his next club.
Despite his underwhelming stint as manager, most fans would surely wish van Bronckhorst the best in his career.
