The beginning of Rangers’ transfer window saw the club snap up Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara on a pre-contract.
In one of this transfer period’s most protracted transfers, it looked like Rangers were pushing to snap the midfielder up before the window closed. Dundee boss Jim McIntyre was resigned to losing him.
So was ex-Ger Kenny Miller.

But last night the talk of Kamara signing pre-June had cooled. Gerrard never mentioned him in his press conference when asked about transfers. A leading journalist also claimed any deal looked dead in the water.
But could a move be reignited after Kamara’s current club Dundee signed a defensive midfielder on loan?
The club are looking for quality cover for Kamara and failed in a bid to bring Ross McCrorie to Dens Park for the remainder of the season.

The midfielder impressed on a trial at Dens Park and could now fill the void left by Kamara. The 27 year old Hadenius can also play at centre back.
Will his signature see a Rangers’ return for Kamara? From a Dundee point of view, there are numerous benefits to letting Kamara join Rangers this month.
They move someone on who’s head has been turned, and they also save on his wages.
And if they’re lucky, they might get one of Rangers’ brightest young talents on loan too.
