Steven Davis has backed Jordan Jones to be a success at Rangers, when speaking on the Official Rangers Podcast.
Jones signed a pre-contract agreement with the Gers in January. Therefore, when his current deal at Kilmarnock expires at the end of the season, he will move to Ibrox on a four-year contract.

Davis is the £675k-rated [Transfermarkt] winger’s international teammate and believes his qualities will go down well at Ibrox.
“Well anybody who’s seen Jordan play, he’s very direct”, Davis said on the
Official Rangers Podcast.
“He wants to go and take people on 1 v 1 in the final third and get balls in the box. So, he’s made a really good impact for us [Northern Ireland].
“He’s an exciting player for the fans to watch. I’m sure he’s the type of player who will get fans on their feet and that’s what they always like to see. So, he’s going to be a good addition.”

Verdict

Davis is the long-serving captain and one of the elder statesmen of the Northern Ireland side. Jones, on the other hand, is relatively new to the international scene, earning just seven caps so far.

However, in a relatively short space of time, he’s clearly caught the eye.

Fans have already begun to get excited after his recent displays against Estonia and Belarus. Yet, he’s far from the finished product and is likely to bring frustration as well as joy.
He’s currently not getting a look in at Kilmarnock, though, as his exit draws nearer.
