Jordan Jones may be a Kilmarnock player right now, but before long, he’ll be a Ger.
The £675k-rated winger, signed a pre-contract agreement back in January, meaning he’ll be added to Steven Gerrard’s squad on a free in the summer.
Last night, the 24-year-old earned his sixth international cap for Northern Ireland.

It was the first of the nation’s Euro 2020 qualification fixtures against lowly Estonia and a must win, given the presence of Germany and the Netherlands elsewhere in the group.
Despite the first period ending goalless, second-half goals from Niall McGinn and Steven Davis eventually secured the three points.
However, while Jones didn’t get on the scoresheet, he was a standout performer.

From the left flank, it became clear he was Michael O’Neill’s best attacking outlet.

His pace is positively frightening, and he isn’t afraid to have a go at his man.
But for a glaring miss from Middlesborough’s Paddy McNair, he would have had an assist midway through the first half.
He would go on to play a role in the opening goal, though.

It was his ball into the area which found Kyle Lafferty. The big target man then controlled and laid back to the onrushing McGinn who tucked away the finish.
Plenty of Rangers fans were excited by his dynamic overall performance.
Here’s a selection of responses to the Rangers-bound man’s post-match tweet.
