Danny Rohl has officially left Rangers for RB Salzburg, and there are expected to be others at Ibrox who will be on their way out in the coming days.

McInnes is all set to replace Rohl, with the Light Blues expected to make an official announcement imminently.

Lawrence Shankland has already joined from Hearts, but there will be a number of incomings over the next few weeks.

Matthias Kaltenbach expected to leave Rangers in the coming days

The Ibrox outfit confirmed on Wednesday that Rohl had parted ways with the club, along with coaches Sascha Lense and Tristan Steiner.

Lense was the first-team Performance Manager while Steiner was the first-team Analyst, and both of them have followed the German out the door.

Rangers News reported that Matthias Kaltenbach would be leaving, but his departure was not officially announced.

What would your concerns be about Derek McInnes replacing Danny Rohl?

However, it is understood that Kaltenbach will still be on his way out over the next few days.

Four Lads Had a Dream’s Steven Clifford reported that he is likely to leave the club for good.

He was potentially not announced in the official statement as a deal has not been agreed, but this will be revisited shortly.

What role did Kaltenbach play under Danny Rohl?

Kaltenbach was among the closest to Rohl in terms of the staff hierarchy.

He focused on training sessions, pitch-side work and the preparations for games in general.

Along with Lense, the German emphasised his love for working on the pitch in training and improving the players at the club.

Now that Danny Rohl has left Rangers, how would you rate his time at the club?

Kaltenbach and Rohl met during their UEFA Pro Licence course, sharing ideas and developing a healthy respect for each other.

The experience he gained at Hoffenheim and Ajax helped add technical depth to his coaching, which will have benefited the Gers.

He helped contribute to the on-field leadership and tactical know-how, making it imperative for McInnes to add someone like him to the ranks.

The Scotsman will have his preferred coaching staff he would like to bring to Ibrox, and they could be in negotiations with Hearts over an exit before an official announcement is made by Rangers.
