Perennially Rangers-linked duo Lyndon Dykes and Kenny McLean inspire a Scotland turnaround in Norway but there was no gametime for John Souttar or Ryan Jack.
Norway went 1-0 up in Oslo courtesy of a dubious Erling Braut Haaland penalty but the Man City star’s goal wasn’t enough to hold back a spirited Tartan Army side.
Alongside Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard, Man City powerhouse Haaland was tipped to steal the show for Norway against Scotland but one Ibrox-linked pair had other plans.
QPR striker Lyndon Dykes was once again linked to Rangers heading into this summer, even if the Ibrox club’s focus appears to now be elsewhere, and the big Australian-born striker netted a late equaliser for the country.
The forward would then turn provider for another Rangers-linked player in boyhood bluenose Kenny McLean, who rolled the winner home after being laid off by Dykes in the closing minutes.
McLean, 31, put an end to much speculation linking him with an end-of-contract move to Rangers by signing a new deal with Norwich City ahead of the January transfer window.

Scotland Euro hopes build after Norway victory
The Norway result means Scotland have now won their opening three European Championship matches and follows a 3-0 win over Georgia (a) and a 2-0 victory over Spain (h).
The nation are now well on track to qualify for Euro 2024, which is set to be held next summer in Germany, with the nation top of Group A, five points in front of Georgia in second who have played one game less.
Rangers have two players involved in the Scotland set up with John Souttar failing to make the clash due to an injury sustained in the build-up and Ryan Jack an unused substitute on the night.

Both players are considered important members of the Scotland squad and will hope to have some level of involvement in the nation’s clash with Georgia on Tuesday evening (20/06) at Hampden.
Former Rangers academy graduate Billy Gilmour also played in the victory over Norway, with Scotland now on track to qualify for only a second tournament in 25 years.
