Ianis Hagi’s current situation is a curious one.
After being brought back from the Rangers wilderness, Hagi ended up getting sent off on his first game back after coming on as a sub against St Johnstone.
Since then, he has only been seen in a short cameo against Aberdeen before being brought on at half-time to try and rescue the Dundee United game on Saturday.
Fans would like to see more of him in a team which struggles for creativity but Hagi’s Rangers future remains very much in the air.

Hagi has ‘interest’ from Borussia Monchengladbach
The attacking midfielder was expected to leave Ibrox in the summer as he didn’t appear to feature in Philippe Clement’s plans.
There were rumours Hagi was due a wage rise if he made one more appearance and that was why he was nowhere to be seen.
But Clement then revealed the situation had been resolved and the 26-year-old would be back involved with his first team squad.
He has still struggled to break into the XI though and that means a January exit may be possible, with plenty speculation still swirling around.
Now Hagi family friend, Ex-Romania striker Adrian Illie, has claimed Gladbach could be his next destination.
He said: “I know there are teams from Germany who are interested in Ianis. Borussia Monchengladbach are the main club.
“It would be better for him to sign for a team who are in the middle positions in the Bundesliga and such a move would be good for him.
“Maybe we will have a discussion with his agent about it. I also discussed his situation with Gheorghe Hagi.
“Ianis has to come in to play a few more matches, but there are Bundesliga teams that could pay for a transfer for him.
“I believe his club are asking for around two and a million Euros. I think it’s somewhere around that figure.
“The transfer would do him good. Give him a year to settle into football in Germany and watch him go.”
Could Hagi win his Rangers place back
Hagi is seen by Rangers fans as a potential difference maker due to his ability to create chances and make things happen in the final third.
He was brought on at half-time of the dismal draw with United for that reason – and Clement was pleased with his contribution.
Could that mean the Romanian is soon handed a chance from the start?
“Some players not available enough and not enough quality on the ball,” Clement said at his post-match presser when asked to explain the manner of Rangers’ performance. “Losing too many easy balls, giving too many bad passes, not being available.
“And that was a big change in the second-half. Dani and Ianis gave a good impact in that way. So I’m happy that they’re back in the squad after a long time not being at the club.
“That impacted our game, we see much more of what we want to see. In the second-half, I think fans see what they want to see and they know also if they see this from the team 90 minutes we’re going to win a lot of games.
“We’re working very hard on that with the squad to get that kind of football again and to make it better. Like I said, Dani comes back from a long-term injury. He had his first minutes a couple of weeks ago. It’s step-by-step that he needs to take his minutes.
“It’s the same with Ianis after not being available for the squad for a long time. And it’s the same with other players.”
