The status of Ianis Hagi at Rangers has been turning heads after yet another stellar showing with the Romanian national team.
The 26-year-old playmaker has spent the bulk of the season training at Auchenhowie after failing to negotiate a summer transfer exit.
But now Ianis Hagi is back in the Rangers fold, the midfielder has found chances to be limited under Philippe Clement despite the Ibrox side’s on-field toils.
It’s led to much discussion over Hagi’s future at Rangers and now the midfielder has broken his silence as he prepares to return to Ibrox off the back of once again impressing on the international stage.

Ianis Hagi’s Rangers future up in the air
Now back in the Rangers squad, a rash challenge v Kilmarnock and subsequent two match ban has halted the return of Ianis Hagi to the Rangers first-team.
Nonetheless, Hagi played a starring role as Romania dumped Cyprus and many Rangers fans are calling for the midfielder to be given a chance at Ibrox.
There’s plenty of chatter surrounding the attacking midfielder’s long-term future too, with Romanian manager Mircea Lucescu urging Hagi to leave Rangers amid links to Strasbourg.
But with a hectic set of fixtures on the horizon at Ibrox, Hagi has been speaking to the media and insists that his full focus is on delivering at Ibrox.
The ex-Genk and Fiorentina star has been a credit to himself throughout the challenges of the last few months and it’s all eyes on Philippe Clement heading towards January.
Hagi’s head certainly appears to be in the right place and the midfielder insists the challenges of the last few months have been nothing compared to coming back from that ACL injury.
The Gers hero has also addressed ‘rumours’ concerning his future at Ibrox.
‘Maximum capacity my goal for Rangers’
“It hasn’t been difficult for me, because I’ve been through a much tougher time when I was away from football,” said Hagi, as quoted by Spot Media.
“It matters to be healthy, and then I know that God has a destiny for each one of us. I know that I have to be prepared and mentally calm knowing that I trained as much as I could.
“I don’t think I can push myself harder than I am currently. It’s logical, in a way, for rumors to circulate when a player’s situation at a club is unclear. My goal is to be at my maximum capacity for Rangers,”
