Rangers current plight means that they need all the help that they can get with Philippe Clement looking to solve a problem in front of goal.
There has been a shortage of contributors outside of Cyriel Dessers and Vaclav Cerny in the squad, but the manager now has an easy decision to make.
Another international break, and another reminder that Ianis Hagi should be playing regularly for Rangers.

Ianis Hagi stars for Romania to serve Philippe Clement reminder
An assist in Romania’s 4-1 win over Cyprus came via a deft cross with his left foot – that can be seen on UEFA’s official highlights here – serving a timely reminder of what he can do from a wide position.
Starting on the right for Romania, Hagi made Clement’s decision not to use him against Hearts look stupid with an 8.5/10 rating on Sofascore and a string of impressive numbers.
With four key passes and two big chances created, Hagi was the man who made the difference, he also had three shots at goal himself.
Off the ball, the 26-year old won 4/7 ground duels and 100% of his aerial duels proving that he is more than just a playmaker.
Hagi makes point to prove the doubters wrong
What he also did is shut a few mouths up in his homeland who don’t think Hagi deserves to be playing for Romania including pundit Amir Kiarash, who said:
“The controversy of calling up an uncapped player to the club team and then sending him on the pitch, match after match, at the expense of players who are racking up appearances and goals for their squads, denotes an outrageous reality.
“Namely the fact that Romania has ‘succeeded’ in promoting nepotism, a ‘disease’ of the society in which we live, and in the national football team!
“In the recent history of the national team, there has never been a footballer, without minutes at the club for months, who was called to absolutely all the actions of the first representative team!”
There is a reason Hagi gets picked for Romania, he can make something happen.
Hopefully, Clement sees this now too.
