Former Arsenal youth and diehard bluenose Charlie Gilmour has been snapped out having some lunch with Glenn Middleton.
The 20-year-old midfielder played twice for Arsenal in the Europa League this season, but it wasn’t enough for him to win a full-time contract. He is now a free agent after his contract wasn’t renewed at the Emirates.
Does his lunchtime date with the young Rangers winger suggest he might be interesting those at Ibrox?

It’s hard to say. For all we know, Charlie Gilmour and Glenn Middleton could just be good friends. Both players have represented Scotland at youth level.
But there’s also a chance the duo could be getting more acquainted with a view to a move. It’s difficult to say.
The wide-open eyes emoji could be a hint to Gers fans. Or it could just be Middleton having fun and trolling. It might even just be meant to say “look who it is”.

We’ve spoken about the possibility of Rangers moving for the young midfielder before. After all, the other Arsenal youth we have at the side in Glen Kamara hasn’t exactly done badly.
And should Rangers be interested in a move, is there anyone better for Gilmour to touch base with than Rangers’ breakthrough star of last season?
