There are several Rangers players who might’ve already played their final game for the club heading into the summer.

An injury to Ianis Hagi means the Romanian might already have kicked his final ball for Rangers, despite reports Hagi remains interested in signing a new contract.

Others such as Jack Butland, Robin Propper and Rafael Fernandes face a long way back to convince Rangers they’re worthy of a place next season.

But ahead of the Scottish Premiership visit of Dundee United, we make it five players who are in line to make what could potentially be their final Rangers appearance at Ibrox.

Leon Balogun

Leon Balogun has been an important player for Rangers this season and as the centre-back approaches his 37th birthday, there remains a chance the defender could stick around next season.

Balogun is clear he wants a new Rangers deal but with uncertainty over who will be in the dugout next season, it remains unclear if the Nigerian international will be offered one.

Neraysho Kasanwirjo

Feyenoord loanee Neraysho Kasanwirjo returned to the Rangers team in the 4-0 romp over Aberdeen after being ruled out with a serious knee injury in November.

Rangers do boast an option on Kasanwirjo but it remains to be seen if the club will activate the clause to bring the 22-year-old to Glasgow permanently.

Nicolas Raskin

One of Rangers’ stand-out performers this season, Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin is a leader at the heart of the Rangers midfield and a crucial part of the team.

But with Nico set to enter the final year of his contract this summer, Rangers will either need to tie the 24-year-old down or cash in come the end of the season.

Tom Lawrence

Tom Lawrence has seen his time at Rangers decimated by injury and fitness issues have once again impacted the midfielder in the closing part of the season.

Out of contract this summer, Lawrence is back in the squad and could face Dundee United but an extension at Rangers looks unlikely. Wrexham are prominent Lawrence suitors ahead of this summer.

Vaclav Cerny

Vaclav Cerny has made a big impression whilst on loan from VfL Wolfsburg this season but it looks as though Rangers will miss out on a permanent swoop for the winger.

Rangers are interested in Cerny but the finances involved in a permanent transfer could go against the Gers despite fresh US investment this summer.
