Rangers star Borna Barisic is being targeted by Croatia champions Dinamo as a winter solution to their long-standing issues at left-back.
In a fresh report in Croatian outlet Germanijak, Borna Barisic is mentioned as a potential Dinamo solution to the role which has seen 15 players unsuccessfully fill since 2018.
Dinamo have struggled to fill the position since Borna Barisic’s international rival with Croatia Borna Sosa left for VfB Stuttgart and the Rangers star is viewed as the 16th option in the position.
This comes after reports last week which claimed that the Croatian First League champions were set to target Borna Barisic before the window closed in the country.
The suggestion was that whilst Rangers would be unable to replace Borna Barisic, Dinamo were going to try and test the waters with the wing-back anyway.

Dinamo links to Borna Barisic continue
Any notion that Borna Barisic could leave Rangers was also rebuffed in the Scottish press, who suggested the defender could even sign a new deal at Ibrox.
This comes with the ex-NK Osijek captain now in the final year of his contract at Ibrox, six years on from when the player signed after a Europa League clash between the two clubs.
The latest NK Dinamo links also come during the international break, where Borna Barisic earned his 31st and 32nd caps for the Croatian national team.
Despite going off injured in Rangers’ Champions League humiliation at the hands of PSV Eindhoven and missing the defeat to Celtic, Barisic played in both matches during the break.

Firstly, the left-back was a substitute in the nation’s demolition of Latvia and then Barisic started the European Championship qualifying win away to Armenia.
With Dinamo once again linked with a move for Borna Barisic, the left-back has made 208 appearances for Rangers since joining in 2018, scoring nine goals and laying on 52 assists.
