Malik Tillman only just signed for PSV permanently but is already attracting interest for his next big move.

The former Rangers loanee has been in sparkling form and scored a brilliant double midweek as the Dutch side launched a stirring late comeback to beat Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, including a clever free-kick and another stunning strike.

Tillman had already been showing Gers what they are missing in the Champions League by scoring a lovely solo goal and providing two assists in a rout of Girona.

That took his tally to three goals and two assists in Europe’s premier competition this season and he has also hit the net five times in Eredivisie, providing one assist.

PSV just paid €12 million (£10m) for the 22-year-old’s services but he already appears to be making some other huge clubs sit up and take notice.

Manchester United and Tottenham among those interested in Malik Tillman

Former Rangers loanee Malik Tillman is making waves with his PSV form and now has clubs in the English Premier League queuing up to take a look, according to the Sky Germany.

Gers’ two upcoming Europa League opponents, Manchester United and Tottenham, are said to be taking a look along with Aston Villa.

They claim the attacking midfielder has a release clause in the region of €30-40m.

But it was also previously reported by Tribuna Bayern had a buyback clause of €35m.

Would Rangers be due a sell-on for Malik Tillman?

The transfer situation surrounding Malik Tillman was a strange one after he left his Rangers loan.

Gers had an option to buy permanently and were keen and confident to do take it up. But it emerged Bayern were able to cancel that by sending a fee as a well as a sell-on to Ibrox.

They exercised that option and instead sent him to PSV on loan with an option to buy that has since been taken up.

That meant Rangers got around £1m up front to compensate them for him heading to the Netherlands instead (Scottish Sun).

And due to the 10 per cent sell-on clause they had inserted they then raked in a further £1.2m when he make his PSV stint permanent (Scottish Sun).

That would the extent of what they bring in with that sell-on now cashed in and not extending to any further deals.
