Djeidi Gassama has reacted as Rangers made an official announcement on Wednesday to confirm the exit of a key figure.
A lot has changed at Ibrox over the last 12 months, with the owners looking to build a team and structure capable of winning the Scottish Premiership title.
Lawrence Shankland has been Rangers’ first summer arrival, but there are many expected to follow him through the door in the coming weeks.

Djeidi Gassama reacts to Rangers’ Danny Rohl announcement
Rangers took to Instagram to confirm that Danny Rohl had left the club by mutual consent to join RB Salzburg.
This announcement was liked by Gassama, who found himself on the fringes of the playing eleven under the German.
The 22-year-old would have wanted to play more and perhaps would have got the chance had Rohl not brought in Andreas Skov Olsen in the January transfer window.
Now that Danny Rohl has left Rangers, how would you rate his time at the club?
Gassama himself struggled to find his feet and it was uncertain right until the end of the season as to what his preferred position was.
The Mauritania international moved to Ibrox last summer, signing a four-year contract until the end of the 2028/29 season.
Derek McInnes, who will replace Rohl, now has a decision to make on Gassama, among other players.

What does the future hold for Gassama at Ibrox?
Gassama had an extremely underwhelming first season at Rangers, and many fans would not be too fussed if he were sold this summer.
In 56 appearances for the Light Blues last season, the Mauritania international scored just nine goals and provided six assists.
Rangers believe that they can sell Gassama for big money, having fielded interest in his services in the January transfer window.
How much can Rangers expect from Djeidi Gassama’s sale? 🤔
He had an underwhelming season at Ibrox…
AS Monaco had made a bid for the 22-year-old, which was an initial loan with a £10m option to buy.
The Light Blues turned that down as Rohl did not want to lose any of his first-team players.
However, with him now gone and McInnes set to replace him, the incoming manager may not rate Gassama too highly and could look to put him in the shop window.
Thus far, there has been no significant interest in the winger, but that could change if Rangers were to put him on sale.
