Rangers are putting the finishing touches on two deals after Derek McInnes lined up a double raid on Hearts.

After days of speculation, Sky Sports confirmed on Monday that Danny Rohl has completed his move to Red Bull Salzburg, with the Light Blues receiving £2million in compensation.

Andrew Cavenagh has made clear he has no interest in another managerial hunt, quickly striking a deal with McInnes to bring him back to Govan.

The Scottish tactician has agreed to a three-year deal at Rangers, with numerous reports revealing his desire to bring Claudio Braga and Cammy Devlin with him already.

What would your concerns be about Derek McInnes replacing Danny Rohl?

However, before McInnes can decide which Hearts players he wants in his ranks at Ibrox, he is keen to see his coaching staff follow him to Glasgow.

According to Chris Jack, Rangers are working to finalise deals for Hearts coaches Paul Sheerin and Archibald.

McInnes is keen to reunite with the duo at Ibrox after the group almost led the Jambos to Premiership glory last season.

The journalist, reporting via the Rangers Review, noted that the pair are expected to join the Gers without any hiccups.

Meanwhile, Craig Clark has emerged as another option to join McInnes’ backroom staff at the club after leaving his position at Kilmarnock.

Rangers, though, are focusing on getting the deals for Sheerin and Archibald across the line, with Clark’s situation described as ‘fluid’.

Clark was already lined up to join McInnes’ team at Hearts after a long spell at Killie.

Now that Danny Rohl seems set to leave Rangers, how would you rate his time at the club?

In some quarters, there are concerns about McInnes’ style of play.

However, the truth is that the 54-year-old comes with a Scottish football pedigree, having proven himself both as a player and a manager.

Losing McInnes may prove to be a bigger blow for Hearts than losing Lawrence Shankland, who has already made the switch to Ibrox.

Rangers are waiting for Rohl‘s move to Salzburg to be confirmed, so they can unveil McInnes as their new head coach.
