The “debate” surrounding Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos or Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard is becoming as tiresome as it is futile.
Whatever team you support is likely to be the motivation between which of the Colombian international or the French U21 striker you rate higher, yet it doesn’t stop Old Firm fans bickering over the duo.
But a fresh report may well inspire Rangers fans to pick Odsonne Edouard over their resident prince of Ibrox park Morelos for the first time, and vice versa.

The form of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos reportedly caught the attention of Roy Hodgson and Crystal Palace [Scottish Sun] down south.
It had the Selhurst Park club’s fans salivating at the prospect, even if Rangers are adamant the Colombian isn’t for sale.
The Sun is now claiming that Edouard is a transfer target for the London club, with Palace reportedly having the cash to spend from the £50m received for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer.
The newspaper is reporting that Palace are willing to spend £20m to sign the in-form Celtic striker.
That’s a decent way short of the amount some pundits have attached to Rangers striker Morelos [Scottish Sun].
Perhaps Rangers hard-line transfer stance on Alfredo Morelos has meant the likes of Crystal Palace are diverting their attention to Edouard.

For once, you won’t find many Rangers fans fighting the Colombian’s corner on this one.
Yup, Morelos is useless Palace fans, you’d be much better off with Edouard. 100%.
