Rangers needed to replace their forward line in the summer with the bulk of the transfer spend going on Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers but, had Robbie Ure been offered a new contract, he might have saved us a few pounds.
The 19-year old striker moved to Anderlecht – specifically their B team equivalent who play in the second tier – in the summer after a few trials across the continent and has settled into life in Belgium.
Leaving Rangers is always a big decision for youngsters but Robbie Ure has hit the ground running, scoring his first goal at the weekend.
Rangers exit sees Robbie Ure hit the ground running
It might look like a relatively straight forward finish but in one phase of play he can be seen telling the midfielder where he wants the ball on two separate occasions.
At 6ft 3inches tall, the Glasgow born youngster is easy to spot and could do with gaining a yard or two in terms of pace but knows how to score goals.
Last season he hit 21 goals and contributed 10 assists too but he obviously felt like his route to the first-team was never going to be easy despite scoring on his debut.

Rangers B team viewers would recognise the movement displayed by Robbie Ure as he first looked to go in behind the opposition defence before scoring via a through ball through the left-back channel.
Playing in a more technical league should see Ure close the gaps on his game in terms of his dribbling and first touch that could let him down on occasion.
He can finish with both feet and is good in the air and, as shown in this clip, if he is given the chance, he will score goals.
Hopefully, the first of many.
