Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are “monitoring” the situation with Malik Tillman at Rangers.
This comes amid high profile reports that the Ibrox side are interested in activating a £5m option-to-buy in Tillman’s loan arrangement.

The Gers signed Malik Tillman on a season long loan in the summer, and the 20-year-old has impressed with 12 goals.
However, some Rangers fans remain unconvinced over Malik Tillman who is perceived as not contributing enough in the biggest games.
Bayern set to run the rule over Malik Tillman
Now, Chris Jack of the Glasgow Times has claimed the player’s situation is not cut and dry with Bayern Munich looking at the situation with Malik Tillman closely.
This comes with Tillman having been dealt an injury blow against Celtic which could all but end his season.
“Sources in Germany have detailed Bayern’s satisfaction at how the move has worked out for Tillman,” writes Chris Jack.
“Bayern have been closely monitoring Tiilman’s form over the course of the campaign and have watched the playmaker in person.
“It is expected that Tillman will report for pre-season duty with Bayern later this summer and will have the chance to prove his worth at the Allianz Arena.
“Given the depth of options that Tuchel has in those attacking midfield berths, there is every chance that Tillman may find his opportunities too limited next term and that will open the door for interested parties.”
That news will certainly interest Rangers fans, many of whom believe that the attitude surrounding the player, and this horrendous season, has probably scared the kid off.
There is no doubt that Malik Tillman is a major talent and Bayern would not be monitoring him so closely if this was not the case.
But whilst the jury is still out on whether or not this move is suitable for Rangers, they certainly won’t be when it comes to the notion that Malik Tillman will go back for a full pre-season under Bayern.
If that’s the case, then given Michael Beale’s comments about building the squad as quickly as possible, it’s probably for the best we look elsewhere.
