It’s hard to tell who’s more excited at Ryan Kent joining the party at Rangers; the club’s fans or the winger himself.

The Liverpool Academy talent secured a move to Ibrox that could possibly rise to £7.5m [Sky Sports] and will be chomping at the bit to make an impression at a club Kent clearly holds dear to his heart.

And if any supporter was in doubt about Kent keeping abreast of developments at the club (as unlikely as that would be) his latest Instagram post should leave them in no doubts.

The winger asks “heard there’s a party” in reference to the club’s support singing ‘Welcome to the Party’ during the first part of the season.

The catchy chant – based on a remix of the Welcome to the Party tune by DJ Krissy – has clearly reached as far as Liverpool with Kent likely well versed in it.

It’s the kind of post which will get Gers fans buzzing for the wee man’s arrival and Kent is clearly very excited about playing at Ibrox again.

The youngster will be aware of the price tag and the need to deliver more in the final third, but there’s little doubt at Rangers or with Kent that Ibrox is the place to do it.

And if there’s any doubt over where Rangers got the money to fund the move, pricing on the upcoming European nights at Ibrox suggests Rangers fans are helping to fund it.
