Newcastle chief Ross Wilson has reacted as Rangers beat Hearts 4-2 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
Youssef Chermiti scored a hat-trick as Rangers reduced the gap with Hearts to just two points in the SPFL table.
Danny Rohl was slammed after the 1-1 draw against Motherwell in mid-week but he has managed to silence his critics.

Ross Wilson sends message to Rangers on Instagram
In what was a must-win game for the Ibrox outfit, they navigated a few early storms in order to get the job done.
Picking Chermiti after his recent struggles was a big call, but it paid off massively, as he put in the performance of his Gers career so far.
It showed just how resilient the side can be and revealed that they have the mentality to compete for the title.
The result and performance even impressed former Rangers Sporting Director Wilson, who has the same role at Premier League outfit Newcastle.
He reacted with applause and a blue heart on Instagram.

How Rangers insiders reflected on the win
David Edgar, who is an insider at the club, and the host of the Heart & Hand Podcast, waxed lyrical over the performance, labelling it “excellent”.
He credited the players that the Gers signed in January and believes that they played a key role in getting the job done.
New signings Andreas Skov Olsen, Ryan Naderi, Tuur Rommens and Tochi Chukwuani all started and contributed in their own way.
Rommens and Chukwuani played the entire 90 minutes, while Skov Olsen and Naderi were taken off for Oliver Antman and Mohamed Diomande, respectively.
Edgar wrote on X: “Rangers were excellent today, new boys all contributing and fans were superb. Attitude was questioned this week but they responded brilliantly to Hearts taking the lead.”

Why is Wilson not looked at fondly for his tenure at Ibrox
Rangers made a lot of transfer failures under Wilson’s stewardship, and he failed to capitalise on a title-winning squad.
He had the best team in Scotland, and all he had to do was bring in quality players, but he failed to do that.
Rangers wasted millions on the likes of Ridvan Yilmaz, Rabbi Matondo and Ben Davies, and all of them flopped during the Ibrox days.
He quickly lost the supporters, who were vocal in their displeasure with him, and he failed to mend fences with them.
