During Friday’s pre-match press conference, followed by the official Rangers Twitter account, Rangers fans received some indication as to how the team will shape up against St Johnstone on Saturday.
Firstly, Steven Gerrard confirmed that Wes Foderingham will start in the absence of Allan McGregor.

The manager also provided an in depth injury update, which we later summarised.
In reaction to doubts over player availability, Dapo Mebude was recalled from international duty.
The teenage attacker had been abroad with Scotland U19s.
In fact,
Clearly, he wouldn’t have been recalled unless there was a real chance he could feature.
The youngster has impressed for various Rangers development teams this season. So much so, he earned a contract extension in Decmeber.
Should Mebude make an appearance, he will likely be the second teenager donning the jersey tomorrow.
Glenn Middleton should also be involved.
The 19-year-old burst onto the scene earlier in the season. Yet, he hasn’t featured as prominently since the return from the winter break.

He has hit form for the reserves recently, though, and his inclusion alongside Gerrard at the press conference suggests his fortunes may change tomorrow.
With attacking resources stretched thin, it could be the perfect opportunity for him to come back in and showcase his talent.
Gerrard isn’t afraid of giving young players ago, and there’s a real chance both could be involved tomorrow.
