Rangers’ youth system is producing a considerable amount of talent at the minute.
You only need to look at the displays of Ross McCrorie and those of the homegrown talents currently out on loan, to know that the future of the club is in safe hands.

This week has been a particularly good one for the development system, though.
Firstly, the U17s have marched impressively through the prestigious Alkass International Cup, in Qatar.

Furthermore, there has been international recognition for several young Gers.
Four Rangers Academy players started for Scotland U19s in a friendly away against Spain.
Jordan Houston, Dapo Mebude, Stephen Kelly and Lewis Mayo all got the nod.

They helped their country to a very encouraging result, too.
Celtic striker, Jack Aitchison, put Scotland ahead after just 13 minutes, but despite a quick response from the hosts, they held on for a 1-1 draw.
It adds to what was already a fine couple of weeks for Jordan Houston, in particular.
He made his senior competitive debut during the closing stages of Rangers’s Scottish Cup victory over Cowdenbeath, at the end of last month.

Congratulations to the four young Gers involved last night.
It’s a pretty quick turnaround for the next game, as they take on Azerbaijan, in Murcia, on Sunday.
