Ryan Kent must be starting to think that he shouldn’t have left Rangers as his season goes from bad to worse.
Playing a starring role at Ibrox on European nights must seem like a distant memory for the 27-year old who now faces an uncertain future.
One place Ryan Kent won’t be heading is Hull City with owner Acun Ilicali no longer a fan of the former Rangers favourite, as reported by Hull Live.

Ryan Kent in Hull City snub as ex-Rangers star faces reality
Kent has hardly featured at Fenerbahce, a goal on his debut proved to be a false dawn as his game time become limited to almost solely the Europa Conference League.
One start in the Super Lig confirms what we all know, his future is not at Fenerbahce.
His future isn’t at Hull City either with Ilicali explaining why they have pulled out of the race:
“Ryan Kent, at the moment, is not on our list. He’s a very good player, but he’s not in the mindset that we were expecting him to be.
“He has to plan his career more clearly. I would say that our aim is sign players that are more determined and focused to join our club.
“If a player has big confusion in his mind then I wouldn’t try to push him, we wouldn’t push him.
“It’s not a positive thing to force players. It’s better for us to focus on players who want to come and play for Hull City in the Championship.”

In fairness to Ryan Kent, he has said that he either wants to move to the Premier League or return to Scotland (Rangers).
He’s spent time in the Championship before when he was on loan from Liverpool and obviously doesn’t fancy it.
Players can get lost in the Championship and, despite a disappointing last couple of seasons, he can still point to a place in the 2021/22 Europa League team of the season as evidence of what he is capable of.
The move to Turkey just hasn’t worked out but it is another example of where most players go after leaving Rangers – down the way.
Few players who grace Ibrox leave for better things, maybe a better league but rarely a bigger club.
In Ryan Kent’s case, it’s easy to see why he wants back to Rangers, the grass is never greener.
