Two prominent Turkish reporters have shared what they’ve both heard about a reported ‘agreement’ between Rangers star Ridvan Yilmaz and Galatasaray.
The Ibrox left-back continues to be linked with a move out of Glasgow and the Turkish giants have been the club most prominently associated with him.
Rangers are not against selling Yilmaz but the right price must be agreed with Galatasaray before a switch is sanctioned.
Gers will also likely want assurances over Jefte before letting Yilmaz leave so easily, with the Brazilian left-back said to have agreed a move to Rangers.
Philippe Clement’s side allegedly want just over £5m for Yilmaz and have reportedly already turned down a loan to buy offer from Galatasaray.
Regardless of the talks between the two clubs, according to both Burhan Can Terzi and Salim Manav who work for outlets Sportcell and Ajansspor respectively, the £3.5m man has came to a personal agreement with Galatasaray.
Ridvan Yilmaz ‘agreement’

Burhan Can Terzi seems to be claiming that Rangers and Galatasaray continue to discuss a loan to buy deal for Yilmaz with the latter to cough up in full in the summer.
Speaking on LUE TV, he is quoted as saying this: “Things broke with Angelino. The biggest candidate for left back in Galatasaray is Rıdvan Yılmaz. Rangers says; You will pay the money in June. Galatasaray says; I’ll rent it, we can pay in June if we want.”
Salim Manav sitting across the table on the same programme agreed and added: “I heard like this. Galatasaray reached an agreement with Rıdvan Yılmaz.”
What we are taking from this is that Yilmaz has verbally agreed to sign for Galatasaray, but negotiations remain ongoing between Rangers and the Turkish giants over what the deal would look like.
Talks will clearly centre around whether to loan then sell permanently in the summer and the final agreed transfer sum.
