Rangers fans are getting a little bit antsy when it comes to Norwich City star Todd Cantwell as the reported interest goes into mid-January.
Michael Beale is yet to make a signing as Rangers boss despite promising up to four and the Gers are clearly lacking options in the middle of the park.

But despite everything pointing to Todd Cantwell joining Rangers – with reports days ago claiming the player “favours” a move to Ibrox over other offers – the deal is yet to be officially done.
That’s despite Michael Beale telling journalists they weren’t far off with the reports heading into the League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen.
It doesn’t matter that there are plenty out there claiming the player has already made up his mind, so long as that Rangers scarf is yet to be hoisted above Cantwell’s head the nerves will continue.
Rangers could face challenge to Todd Cantwell deal
The drawn out pursuit of Todd Cantwell has also been complicated by the latest links to PSV Eindhoven in the media.
According to reports, the out-of-contract midfielder is a target for the Dutch club this January with Joey Veerman being linked to Man United.
Given Rangers’ lack of transfer activity to date, losing out on Todd Cantwell to PSV at this late stage would likely see a rapturous response from supporters who are expecting business to be done in the coming weeks.
Rangers have managed to stave off frustrated fans with a solid run since Michael Beale came into the club, the manager winning six and drawing one of his first seven games.
But the support are well aware of the January window ticking down and as a battered and bruised squad hobbles to the League Cup Final, transfers are expected ASAP.
Meanwhile, another week, another Rangers star at the centre of VAR hysteria.
