Hot on the heels of the victory over Hearts, Steven Gerrard spoke in a press conference on Thursday morning, as followed by the Rangers Twitter account.
After previewing Sunday’s clash with Motherwell, the manager set out his plans for the summer transfer window.

The ex-Liverpool man has brought in plenty of new personnel since arriving back in May.
He dipped into the market over the summer months and made several signings in January, too.
It was always going to take time to build a competitive squad, though, and it looks as though more activity is on the way.
“The only thing I can say is we will try and add more quality to make our eleven and squad stronger, there won’t be wholesale changes”, said Gerrard, as quoted by the Rangers Twitter.

This will be encouraging for the supporters.

However, while hordes of new signings would be exciting, that’s often not conducive to success.
Gerrard knows he’s close to a very good starting lineup and squad right now. He just needs to shift some dead wood and bring in a few top performers.
If he can do that, the Gers will be well and truly in the hunt this time next season.
