Rangers are keen on securing the services of BK Hacken midfielder Silas Andersen in the coming weeks.
Andersen is on Sporting’s radar as well this summer, and the Portuguese side are battling the Ibrox outfit and other clubs for his signature.
The 21-year-old only joined his club in January 2025, but could be on the move this summer.

Silas Andersen confirms he’s considering a summer exit amid Sporting links
Andersen admitted that he will consider a move away from his club when asked directly about the links to Sporting.
Sporting have tabled a £6m+ bid for the Danish midfielder, but it remains to be seen whether or not Hacken are satisfied with it.

While the 21-year-old did seem excited at the prospect of moving to the Portuguese club, he stated that he is currently going on vacation and that he will make a decision once he is back.
However, he has admitted that it would be a step forward for him in his career and a challenge to see if he’s ready for it.
He said: “Now I’m going on vacation and then we’ll see. Sporting is tempting because it’s a big club. It would be a step forward to see what I’m capable of at that level.”

How would YOU convince him to move to Ibrox? 🤔
How has Andersen’s career panned out so far?
Andersen came up the ranks at Danish club Sundby BK and knew at the time that if he had to make a career in football, he had to move elsewhere.
This is why the midfielder opted to move to FC Copenhagen, which is one of the biggest clubs in Denmark and also spent years in Inter Milan’s academy.
He did not make his senior debut for either club, as that happened when he was at Utrecht.
Since then, he has taken his game from strength to strength to become one of the Swedish league’s best under-23 players.
Andersen has made the most of his one and a half years at Hacken, and appears to be looking for a move this summer.

How is Andersen likely to be utilised at Rangers?
Should Rangers sign the Danish midfielder this summer, he will likely be used as a holding midfielder, with Danny Rohl making the most of his frame and physicality.
He is also known for his press resistance and progressive passing, so he could be utilised heavily while building out from the back.
With Nicolas Raskin facing an uncertain future, he appears to be an ideal replacement for the Belgian.
