Rangers winger Ryan Kent is reportedly set to be scouted by Burnley as Vincent Kompany looks to bolster his side after earning Premier League promotion.
The Man City legend has already guaranteed a return to the top tier of English football after a successful season in the Championship with the division’s title firmly in his team’s sights.

And despite being set to rake in up to £170m for earning the Clarets promotion to the top tier, Burnley could be about to strike a bargain basement deal with Rangers star Ryan Kent.
Burnley linked to Ryan Kent
The Scottish Sun are claiming that Vincent Kompany and Burnley have an eye on the winger, who would initially have to fight for his place alongside Moroccan winger Anass Zaroury.
However, the 12 goals from Zaroury this season have seemingly attracted interest with the attacker linked to the likes of Borussia Dortmund by the Sun in recent weeks.
That means that Burnley may well have an opening in the squad this summer and Ryan Kent represents an interesting alternative for Vincent Kompany and co.
The news comes with Ryan Kent currently carrying an injury for Rangers, with the attacker missing the 5-2 victory over St Mirren at the weekend.
Highly-rated during his formative years at Liverpool, Rangers fans have seen the best and worst of Ryan Kent over his five years in Glasgow.
Rangers face huge winger decision
Initially signed on loan in 2018, Ryan Kent joined Rangers a £7m deal from Liverpool back in 2019 after winning the Young Player of the Year award in Scotland.
Since then Ryan Kent has scored some big goals for the club and has been central to the progress in Europe, his inspired showings in the Europa League vital on the road to Seville.
But ultimately Rangers have had not had enough of a goalscoring and assisting contribution from the workhorse Ibrox winger whose commitment is never in question but execution certainly is.
With our Old Firm rivals clearly having more cutting edge in the final third, it has plenty of Rangers fans asking the question of Ryan Kent who, whilst a key contributor at times, cannot be relied upon to deliver the goals which the club needs to regain the title.
It’s got plenty wondering if the winger will be at Rangers beyond the summer and it is quite a failure of squad management that such an expensive signing will walk out the door for nothing.
With Burnley the latest name to be linked, perhaps the allure of the Premier League with Vincent Kompany will attract Ryan Kent who is really at a big crossroads at Rangers.
