Serie A side Cremonese value high-profile reported Rangers target Cyriel Dessers at £7m, according to the latest reporting surrounding the striker.
The Mail are claiming that Rangers will have to fork out over the £5.5m (€6.5m) that the now relegated Italian club paid for the 28-year-old four-capped Nigerian international attacker.

This latest report comes amid claims elsewhere that Rangers have had an opening bid rejected for Dessers, with Cremonese initially said to be hoping to recoup most of the fee they paid.
But now it appears the Italians are hoping to make a small profit on Cyriel Dessers amid that Rangers interest, with the striker only just joining the club from FC Genk last summer.
Rangers are on the hunt for more firepower ahead of the new season with outgoing Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos out-of-contract and badly out of form at Rangers.
There remain doubts over the reliability of both Antonio Colak and Kemar Roofe, meaning a new forward option is essential to the club’s hopes of finally ending Celtic’s domestic dominance.
The report claims that, while Dessers remains a top Rangers target, there is also an Ibrox eye on Sampdoria striker Sam Lammers and Troyes forward Ike Ugbo.
Is Cyriel Dessers the man to fire Rangers to glory?
Belgian-born Dessers broke through at OH Leuven before moving to Lokeren and then on to NAC Breda in the Netherlands.
Impressing with 29 goals in 40 games, successful spells with FC Utrecht and Heracles Almelo would follow before a return to Belgium via Genk in 2020, but things didn’t work out as planned in his home country.
Returning to the Netherlands on loan at Feyenoord a year later, Dessers was the Europa Conference League’s top scorer in the 21/22 season (9), earning him the move to Italy and, presumably, interest from Rangers.
The striker’s first season in Italy saw Dessers net six goals in a competitive Italian top flight, a noble return at a club which finished 19th in the league table.
There is a decent profile there, but Rangers fans will have one eye on the substantial valuation of £7m for a 28-year-old striker who is halfway to becoming a European journeyman.
