Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara could now follow Ryan Kent to Turkey amid interest from Galatasaray and Besiktas.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Kamara is a target for the two Turkish giants.

It’s claimed that Kamara has now been told that he is free to leave Rangers during this summer’s transfer window.

Rangers are allegedly seeking a fee of around £6million with Kamara potentially on his way out.

The 27-year-old has two years left on his Rangers contract but this may be the right time to move on.

Michael Beale claimed just days ago that Rangers will seriously consider selling Kamara this summer.

Beale laid down the gauntlet by suggesting that Kamara will either knuckle down and fight for his place or be sold this summer.

Kieran Dowell’s arrival and the expected signing of Jose Cifuentes may hamper Kamara’s chances of first-team action, so Rangers seem keen to cash in.

Glen Kamara could follow Ryan Kent to Turkey

A move to a major Turkish side could appeal to Kamara – just as it is for teammate Ryan Kent.

The Mail’s report suggests that Fenerbahce are now expected to win the race to sign winger Kent.

Kent is out of contract this summer and Rangers have already confirmed that he is leaving the club on a free transfer.

Whilst Kent has been linked with English clubs – especially those in the Premier League – a move to Fenerbahce is now expected.

That means Kent and Kamara could now become enemies in one of Europe’s fiercest derbies.

Kent and Kamara are no strangers to big derby games having lined up together for Rangers and Celtic.

Going up against each other in such a game will be a very different experience though and there is a real chance we Kent and Kamara lock horns away from Ibrox next season.
