Rangers boss Michael Beale has opened up the possibility of midfielder Glen Kamara leaving the club this summer.
We all knew changes would be coming at Ibrox summer.
Rangers have already confirmed the departures of Allan McGregor, Filip Helander, Scott Arfield, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.
Michael Beale may yet flog a few more with Ben Davies, Scott Wright, Jon McLaughlin and Antonio Colak all linked away.
Glen Kamara now seemingly can’t rest and think that he is safe from the Rangers revolution.
Boss Beale has told the Daily Record that he thinks Kamara’s Rangers career will now go one of two ways.
Beale thinks Kamara will either rise to the challenge of increased competition and kick on to see out most of his career with Rangers.
However, Beale thinks the alternative is that Kamara will be sold this summer and bring an end to his Ibrox career.
“I think Glen is at a stage of his career at 27 where he is either going to be here now for the rest of his career and dig in and have a really strong pre-season. He is either going to be here for a considerable future or we will probably sell him this summer,” said Beale.
“When I came in he had an ankle problem he couldn’t get over. We kicked the operation into touch because we had a lot of injuries and Glen played through that for a period, then we gave him a chance to settle. He has not got back in the team because the boys that are playing have played very well.”
“For Glen, everything is open really. But I think he needs to look at the competition that’s here in pre-season and decide whether there is going to be enough football for him,” he added.

Glen Kamara won’t be a first pick for Rangers next season
Rangers swooped to sign Kamara from Dundee back in January 2019, securing a cut-price cash deal after striking a pre-contract agreement.
The Finland international has now racked up nearly 200 first-team appearances for Rangers but the end feels nigh.
Kamara has started just once since February and he didn’t exactly shine against Hearts last week.
It’s also hard to see him playing a key role under Beale next season.
Nicolas Raskin arrived from Standard Liege in January and has impressed whilst the same goes for Todd Cantwell in a more advanced role.
LAFC star Jose Cifuentes looks set to join this summer whilst Kieran Dowell has already arrived, giving Beale another option if he wants to be very attacking.
Factor in that Ryan Jack has signed a new contract and it’s hard to see where Kamara will feature in this Rangers side.
The 27-year-old may well knuckle down this summer, but we think it may be time for him to go and have a fresh start elsewhere.
