According to a Glasgow Live report, Rangers winger Kai Kennedy will head out on loan to a Premiership club for the 2021/22 season.
Kennedy is very highly rated at Ibrox and impressed many fans with strong performances last season whilst on loan at Inverness Caley Thistle and Raith Rovers.

He signed a contract extension in January which takes him through to the summer of 2023 [Rangers.co.uk] and some were hoping that he’d occupy a backup role to Ryan Kent next season.
However, Glasgow Live reports that Rangers feel he needs to get a full season of top-flight football under his belt before he’s genuinely ready to compete for a first-team spot at Ibrox.
It’s asserted that multiple Premiership clubs are interested in signing him and that a loan exit could be agreed before the newly-rebranded Premier Sports Cup gets underway in July.

This news will no doubt disappoint those supporters who are keen to see more homegrown talent in the Rangers first team.
However, given that the 19-year-old only has 30 senior appearances under his belt, it makes sense to let him build up his experience elsewhere for a full season before fully bringing him into the fold.
The tricky winger has one senior Gers appearance to his name, which came against Stranraer in the Scottish Cup in January 2020, and if this next loan move goes well, it could set him up for a successful career at Ibrox.
In other news, Rangers fans have been dealt a big Champions League blow by a UEFA ruling.
