Rangers look set to lose Joe Aribo to the Premier League but could the latest comments from Steven Gerrard hint Glen Kamara may well follow suit?
Finnish international Kamara, 26, was brought to Ibrox by Gerrard and even signed a new contract last season whilst the Scouser was at the club.

But despite being tied to Rangers until 2025 it hasn’t stopped Glen Kamara being linked with a reunion with his former manager at Aston Villa this summer.
The ex-Arsenal kid appears destined for a move to the Premier League at some point and Villa Park is one of several destinations being mooted.
But after Steven Gerrard and Villa moved elsewhere at the beginning of the window, securing a deal for the highly-rated French international Boubacar Kamara, it looked like any interest would cool.
Aston Villa launch midfielder hint amid links to Rangers star Glen Kamara
As the legendary ex-Liverpool midfielder discussed the deal for the former Marseille star, it’s clear that Aston Villa have one eye on another addition in the middle of the park.
“He’s a ball-player, a footballer,” said Gerrard [VillaTV].
“He’s got a tremendous range in his passing and, for someone so young at 22, he comes with real big experience at Marseille. It was tough for him to leave because he’s got a lot of respect for Marseille.
“He’s recently become a French international which tells you of the calibre of player we’re dealing with here.
“He’ll need time to settle in and, again, he’ll strengthen our central midfield positions whether that’s a No.6 or an eight. He can help us in both positions.
“It’s still an area we’re looking to strengthen again and we want to challenge the lads that have done well for us in the last six months since we’ve been here.

“We want to make it really difficult for people to have guaranteed places. We want to challenge every area of the team to make us stronger.”
If Glen Kamara is one of the players Aston Villa are looking at to do so, then the Villains can expect competition from across the Premier League.
Glen Kamara has also been linked to one team of English top flight dark horses after they sold a key player for a reported £30m.
