Every summer there is a Rangers transfer saga, however, this year is different in that there appears to be several.
Philippe Clement knows that he has a big job on his hands to improve the quality in his Rangers squad, not only that, but there must be more home-grown players added too.
Speaking on The Rangers Review morning brief for Thursday the 4th of July, Stevie Clifford of the Four Lads Had a Dream blog has hinted that Connor Barron might not be on his own for long.

Kenny McLean has made no secret of Rangers move desire
There are, obviously, already Scottish players in the squad.
The debate/problem, is that the majority of them aren’t good enough to play on a weekly basis.
One who is good enough and who has been linked is Kenny McLean, a player who has made no secret of his love for the club:
“I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t something I’d want to do. As a kid that’s what you want to do, play for your boyhood team.
“Right now, I’m about to play in the Premier League again, so I’m not thinking about it!
“But for me and my family, it would be pretty special. I grew up a Rangers fan, used to go to the games with my dad and as a kid in Glasgow, you support Rangers or Celtic and you want to play for one of them.
“So, I was on the better side.”
Is McLean any closer to fulfilling a lifelong ambition?
McLean has been linked in the past but this summer seems to have the most concrete interest.
Talks with Norwich City are said to have taken place with rumours following that a deal couldn’t be agreed only for the player’s agent to laugh at the claims.
Heart and Hand’s David Edgar claimed on the daily update for the 4th of July that McLean is very much still a target for Philippe Clement and that talks continue.
A sentiment echoed earlier in the day when host Derek Clark was speaking about Barron only for Cliffford to hint that fans might not have to wait long for the next Scot to arrive:
“He might have another Scottish midfielder in next to him, so we’ll have to wait and see how that one develops.”
Since Clement took over as manager and Koppen arrived, accurate reports from ‘in the know’ accounts have noticeably decreased.
When they are singing in unison though, it suggests that there is substance to the story and that the 41-times capped Scotland international could yet fulfill his dream of playing for the club he loves.
