Glen Kamara’s position as a Rangers player is one that has clearly been over since the end of last season and Fabrizio Romano has given news that could see us edge closer to a conclusion.
The 27-year old on international duty insinuated that he was leaving Glasgow, and yet, nothing has been confirmed – he has even been seen back in training.
One stumbling block was considered as being Tyler Adams leaving Leeds United to free up space and money so that Glen Kamara could join from Rangers, a report from Fabrizio Romano suggests that a deal could be close.

Glen Kamara stumbling block could be cleared for Rangers
How it has take so long for Glen Kamara to conclude a transfer away from Rangers we’ll probably never truly know.
Almost four months have passed since he was last seen in a Rangers shirt or at the training ground until this week.

Writing on X, the transfer supremo has given the news that the stumbling block for the well-reported interest in Glen Kamara from Leeds United could be about to pick up the pace and see Rangers quids in:
“Tyler Adams to Bournemouth, here we go soon! Medical booked in London later today — after agreement reached with Leeds United.
“Deal to be finalised in the next 24h as Adams has accepted conditions of the agreement.
“Contract signing scheduled after medical.”

Romano has confirmed before that Leeds have Glen Kamara on a list of possible targets and it would make sense if this is what they have been waiting for before concluding a deal for the Rangers midfielder.
The last thing they would want to do is spend upwards of £5m on a player only to have a player on their books who they were looking to sell.
Michael Beale too will be wanting to get Kamara sold so that he can reinvest the money himself and target the positions he still wants to strengthen, before time runs out preferably.
