There is usually a transfer saga every summer and this year for Rangers it has been the one featuring Glen Kamara that has dragged on.
On an almost weekly basis, various clubs are said to have been interested in the Finland international but nothing concrete has ever been confirmed.
Now, two weeks into the season, Rangers are still paying Glen Kamara a wage even though he has not been seen back at Auchenhowie since the end of last season but Fabrizio Romano has confirmed one side that is considering making a move, via GiveMeSport.

The 27-year old midfielder used to be a favourite of Michael Beale.
The Gers boss went as far as to say that a Michael Beale Rangers team will always have Glen Kamara in it.

That didn’t last long though, especially after Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell were added to the squad.
Rangers seeking resolution to Glen Kamara saga
An official announcement would be warmly received by Rangers who have other targets to consider but Glen Kamara could have a decision to make soon, according to Romano:
“He’s a player they appreciate for sure. This is true. It’s a name they have discussed internally at the club.
“So, let’s see in terms of numbers with Rangers because it’s never an easy negotiation when you want to sign important players. But it’s true they have his name on the list.”

The fee, reported to be over £5m is the going rate for an international footballer with extensive European experience but it is still puzzling as to why he hasn’t got a new club yet.
Hopefully, Leeds – or someone else – make their minds up, pay the asking price and get the deal done.
Michael Beale has his own list to be taking care of.
