Rangers will want to keep the momentum going in the January, Philippe Clement will be happy with his first signing but Ridvan Yilmaz could be the next news.
Speculation from Italy has suggested that Hellas Verona could be the 22-year old’s next destination, a strange move when you consider the varying factors.
It might have taken him time to settle at Rangers but Ridvan Yilmaz should be one of the players that the manager builds his squad around if he wants to bring success back to Ibrox.

Rangers should hold fire on selling Ridvan Yilmaz
At the end of last season, and recently, we have seen a much more acceptable level of performance from the Turkey international.
He has arguably been our best player in the last two games.
And this is the standard that he has to maintain.
If he can, then the £3.4m plus fee that was paid to Besiktas will have been a bargain.
However, he has to get the time to prove it.
The is only one condition that Rangers should consider selling Ridvan Yilmaz to Verona, a club beset by financial difficulties.
They give us Josh Doig in exchange.

Personally, I don’t think Doig is as good a player as Ridvan, I never thought he was anywhere near as good as Nathan Patterson either but there always seemed to be that comparison.
Ridvan has shown how quick he is, how good a dribbler he can be to break defensive lines and, with a run of games, has started creating chances too.
He isn’t as good a crosser as Borna Barisic but few players, never mind full-backs, are.
With the Croatian out of contract in the summer, we will probably go for another guaranteed starter at left-back, a player who can be relied upon to be fit for 50 or more games a season.
Doig has potential to improve, he is robust and his status as a home-grown player could make a huge difference in any prospective deal, it is probably the key reason he has been linked with a fee said to be in the region of £5.2m.
It could be the sort of transfer that goes to the final days because you have to ask why Ridvan Yilmaz would sign for a club that already has two left-backs, especially when he is getting a game at Rangers and competing for trophies.
The two clubs are heading in opposite directions even if you weren’t a Rangers fan, there is only one you would choose.
