The Daily Record reports that Charlie Gilmour has agreed to join Norwich City.
The 20-year-old midfielder was surprisingly released by Arsenal last week.
His Gunners exit, followed by a tweet from Rangers winger Glen Middleton, sparked a wave of speculation that Gilmour could be on his way to Ibrox.

He’s a big Rangers fan, and
plenty of Bears got excited about potentially snapping him up.
However, it appears that he has chosen to stay in England.
The Record reports that he will join the Canaries imminently, in search of Premier League minutes under Daniel Farke.

The consolation for Rangers fans is that they are already well stocked in midfield.
It’s probably the strongest area of Steven Gerrard’s current squad. The trio of Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, and Ryan Jack controlled the vast majority of post-split SPL fixtures. In a more advanced role, Scott Arfield also starred.
Next season, those four will be pushed by Ross McCrorie, Jordan Rossiter and Greg Docherty. Squad depth and healthy competition for places is vital if the Gers are to emerge from another potentially 60-game season with silverware.
