The mass exodus hasn’t quite kicked into full gear at Rangers this summer with Fashion Sakala the latest subject of speculation.
Reports of a £4m bid and the Zambian international rejecting a move to Saudi Arabia had only just died down before re-emerging at the weekend.
Michael Beale has now given an update on the Rangers forward after Fashion Sakala was absent from the trip to Germany due to more interest from the Middle East, as reported by The Rangers Review.

There can never be any doubting what the 26-year old brings to the Light Blues when he is in the line-up.
Chaos.
As Rino Gattuso once said – “Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe *expletive deleted*.”
Fashion Sakala, on a free transfer, was worth the punt though.
Rangers wait as Fashion Sakala makes future decision
Nothing has been confirmed but, the Gers gaffer has hinted that news on Fashion Sakala’s Rangers future might not be far away:
“There’s nothing on Fashion at the moment.
“There’s a bit of noise around a few of the players and that’s natural because of how many we’ve brought in.
“As soon as there’s something to say on that we will.”

Saudi Arabia seems to be the most likely destination but, as we have seen already, Sakala doesn’t seem too keen on the move.
The £4m would be useful, especially if the manager has decided that he isn’t going to feature regularly.
Not only that, but it would free up wages from a budget that will already be stretched given the number of players that have arrived since the window opened.
Michael Beale can’t pick and choose who clubs bid for and I’m sure that there will be other members of the squad that he would rather see depart than a player who is capable of getting 20 goals and assists a season.
Rangers needed a total overhaul though and Fashion Sakala was never going to be one that the Gers boss built his team around.
