Of the many names linked to Rangers over the course of the January transfer window, only one pitched up at Ibrox.
Rafael Fernandes is the only addition to Philippe Clement’s squad, another option at centre half with James Tavernier having to fill in there lately.
There were hopes that Gers could do a late deadline day deal with attacking areas on the agenda and potential loan deals looked at, but nothing materialised.
That means Clement will now have to wait until the same to continue reshaping his squad, and he will hope he can see repeats of signings like Hamza Igamane and Jefte.
One player who likely will not become a Rangers player in the next window is Oussama Targhalline.

Rangers target Oussama Targhalline to sign for Feyenoord
Rangers were first linked with Targhalline back in the summer, their interest reported by reputable French outlet L’Equipe.
The 22-year-old Moroccan star’s Le Havre contract runs until this summer and that could have allowed Gers the chance to speak with Targhalline.
It was reported last month that the midfielder was definitely set to leave Le Havre with no chance of a new deal being signed.
That would have raised hopes that he could join his countryman Hamza Igamane in Glasgow.
Especially since Issame Charai, who coached Targhalline for Morocco under-23s, has just been appointed as Clement’s new assistant.
But the playmaker now looks set to sign for Feyenoord, according to 1908.
The report states that he is due to land in Rotterdam today before finalising his switch to the Eredivisie giants.
Rangers pre-contract blow
It wouldn’t be too far-fetched to think Rangers might have been planning to try and get Targhalline on a pre-contract.
It seems permanent deals with big fees weren’t on the agenda this month with the clubs targeting loans immediately at first.
And with Lyall Cameron signing on a pre-contract, that appears to be a strategy too.
