Rangers are plotting a bid to land Aaron Ramsey from Serie A giants Juventus again next season after the Welshman’s stuttering start to life at Ibrox.
The Gers made headlines across the footballing world when they signed the former Arsenal man on a loan deal on deadline day, with Ramsey’s Juve contract said to be worth £20.8m per year [BBC Sport].

But things haven’t always gone to plan for the 31-year-old as injury and fitness issues disrupted the early part of his Rangers tenure.
Only now are Rangers beginning to see flashes of what Aaron Ramsey can offer – perhaps too late for the midfielder to have a telling impact domestically – and the signing is shrouded in frustration.
Much like the entire January window.
But according to TEAMtalk, this season might not be the last time we see Aaron Ramsey turn out for the Light Blues with Juventus said to be willing to help broker a deal.
Rangers consider summer move for Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey
The midfielder is contracted to Juventus until 2023, and after scoring in the weekend’s Old Firm defeat to Celtic, the report claims Rangers have not ruled out a summer move.
They claim that Juventus have already indicated to potential suitors that they would let Aaron Ramsey leave on a free come the end of the season.
However, the report does make mention of a potentially hefty signing on fee and high wage demands and Rangers would need to be realistic amid almost guaranteed Premier League interest.
But Aaron Ramsey did choose Rangers once before and with unfinished business at Ibrox, it’d be interesting to see if the midfielder wanted to leave a legacy in Glasgow.

As things stand – with Rangers toiling in the league – should the Gers go on to win nothing this season, then there will be criticism aplenty for the signing come May.
From a personal point of view, Aaron Ramsey will likely be fit enough to have a stronger list of suitors too and Rangers will hope their prestige and not finances swings any deal.
Meanwhile, a leading Scottish football journalist claims Rangers are “categorical” when it comes to circumstances surrounding a leading player’s injury.
