The Rangers career of Fashion Sakala is a strange one, he produces the numbers that Michael Beale needs and yet any decent offer should be accepted for the versatile forward.
The Zambia international is celebrating leading his country to the African Cup of Nations but continues to be a player that divides the support.
With reports of an offer from Germany, Rangers need to avoid the mistake of last season where a big money bid of £3m was rumoured only for Fashion Sakala to sit on the bench.

Why Rangers need to cash in on Fashion Sakala
The biggest problem with the effervescent forward is that he seems to have been a player that was bought for all the wrong reasons.
He produced good numbers in Belgium, is seriously quick, but doesn’t possess the technical ability needed to be a success at Rangers.
In one 90 minute game he can go from world beater to pub league player and back again, 20 goals and assists in 41 games doesn’t pain the full picture.
It seems that the main reason Sakala was signed was because he was free.
His wages aren’t on anywhere near the level of Kemar Roofe’s or Alfredo Morelos’s before he left which makes him a good squad option.

Sakala can also be used either centrally or out wide.
However, if an offer anywhere near the £3m that was reported from Burnley last summer comes in, it should be accepted.
This would give Michael Beale the money needed to buy someone more suitable to how he wants to play and someone who will be more consistent.
In big moments, Sakala has been found wanting. Missing an open goal once is bad enough, to do it more than once, isn’t good enough.
It’s a basic factor of how a player trading model should work, there should always be possible replacements lined up for every member of the squad.
The more money that the Gers gaffer can bring in, the better, there is a good core already in place but Sakala should never be a starter, despite his unerring ability to contribute to the goals scored column.
