Rangers media partners Four Lads Had a Dream have been told by the Ibrox side that transfer rumours surrounding Ridvan Yilmaz are “completely untrue”.

Whilst there have been no official reports surrounding the Turkish international left-back, transfer rumours spread regarding Ridvan Yilmaz heading into the Champions League clash with Servette.

Specifically, there was a suggestion that the 22-year-old had been told he was free to find a new club just one year on from joining the Ibrox side from Besiktas is a deal which could eventually reach £5m.

However, ahead of the eventual 2-1 victory Four Lads Had a Dream moved to quash the rumours with the club responding to an enquiry about the ex-Super Lig star.

Taking to the newly rebranded X platform, which is slowly shifting away from its previous Twitter branding following the Elon Musk takeover, Four Lads Had a Dream said:

“From Rangers – Ridvan Yilmaz is not for sale, he has not been told he can leave and today’s rumours are completely untrue.”
