Rangers move for Luis Palma is one that could turn into a summer saga, if Michael Beale has the stomach for it.
The 23-year old Greece-based winger is said to be one of the Gers gaffers top targets and is looking to get an early deal done.
A £2.5m bid has been rejected with Aris looking for £4.4m (€5m) but, if Rangers want Luis Palma, it isn’t going to be plain sailing, as reported by SDNA.

The Greek media outlet has reported that Palma’s ownership model is s complex one and that there are three parties all due a cut of his transfer fee when he is sold on:
“Of course, Aris were and remain open to proposals for the sale of Palma and will seriously consider any of them that come close to their “want” which is on the… verge of five million euros.
“It should be noted that an important parameter in the Palma case has to do with the… broken rights of the footballer, given that a part of them belongs to his former team ( CDS Vida ) in Honduras and another part to the management office with which he works.”
Rangers Luis Palma move hangs in balance
Deals of this type are always a nightmare, especially if all the individuals concerned have a say in the negotiations, even if the player himself is keen on the move.
It also affects how much leeway Aris have in terms of setting Palma’s price tag.
Rangers will have a long list of names to replace Ryan Kent and Luis Palma will just be one of them.
There are always plenty more fish in the sea if Michael Beale decides that this one is more complicated than he had first hoped it would be.
The Gers boss has made a good start to the transfer window and there is still a long way to go, with Palma confirming that he is leaving this summer, how happy he will be about his club holding him for ransom could be an interesting side story.
