Rangers links to Man United talent James Garner have resurfaced after quotes from the player’s agent were used in a recent online article.
Sports Mole used the comments of Garner’s agent Steven Beck from back in April where Beck told Stretty News that both Rangers and Brighton had an eye on the central midfielder.

Only 20, Garner impressed during two loan spells in the English Championship last season, spending the first half of the campaign at Watford and the second at Nottingham Forest.
Beck claimed back then Rangers “are really keen on him” and also linked Premier League new boys Norwich to the player.
The resurfaced quotes have since been picked up by We All Follow United and the Manchester Evening News but it’s clear these stories are based on the historic Beck comments.
Nottinghamshire Live also ran a story mentioning the quotes earlier in the week.
Here are the Steve Beck quotes used by Sports Mole:
“Third loan? – I honestly don’t know.
“I had a couple of chats with John Murtough last week, but I’m so relaxed on the situation, as is James because things are going so well for him.
“James has put himself in a great position where he’s probably going to have, if he does go out on loan again, the majority of the Championship and I would be amazed if one or two Premier League clubs don’t try and do something.
“I know Brighton like him, I know Norwich City like him. I know Rangers are really keen on him as well.”
Rangers’ pursuit of a midfielder is well-known and it’s interesting to see Norwich City named here.

The Ibrox club have already signed Nmandi Ofoborh in the middle of the park but links have persisted to a range of midfielders, not least Chelsea kid Billy Gilmour.
But with Gilmour reportedly set to join Norwich City, do Rangers have one less competitor in their prospective pursuit of Man United kid James Garner?
