Rangers will be looking to add more firepower to the attack in the summer and a return for January target Gue-sung Cho could be on the cards.
The South Korea international impressed at the mid-season World Cup, however, has since struggled for form and fitness.

Gue-sung Cho was linked with a move to Rangers in January with Celtic also named, but after missing out on a move, the 25-year old is focussed on getting his head down, as reported by South Korean outlet Cho Sun, via The Daily Record:
“It is important to stay in shape right now and I will get better in the future.
“So I don’t worry too much about it. I think it is important to keep in good shape. Now, if I find my dream again, I think it will be really good. Don’t worry too much. If you work hard, you will be fine.”
When Celtic signed Hyeongyu Oh, the door was left open for Rangers to bring the 20-cap international to Ibrox.
The Sun’s Alan Nixon has previously claimed that Michael Beale was trying harder than our city rivals to get a deal done but that the £3m price tag might be the stumbling block – a £2.6m bid reportedly being rejected.
Why Rangers should target Gue-sung Cho for summer move
Fitness has been Gue-sung Cho’s biggest issue this season but his current form shouldn’t prevent any offer from being made.
His goalscoring record is outstanding and his displays in the World Cup showed exactly what he is capable of.
Playing against some of the best defenders in the world, Cho lead the line on his own and caused a lot of problems.
With Alfredo Morelos leaving, this is exactly the type of striker that Michael Beale should be targeting.
One that has proven elite experience, a goal scoring record at a comparable domestic level and is a stylistic match.
What makes even more sense is that Jeonbuk Hyundai aren’t exactly charging a fortune for Gue-sung Cho and that £3m is a bargain for a player with his experience and skillset.
Free of injury, now would be a good time to sign Cho and he, clearly, is still looking for a big move.
Where better than a team playing in the Champions League?
He could be Rangers Giorgios Giakoumakis in that Old Firm goals and firing us to silverware would show them exactly what they missed out on.
