Michael Beale will be signing at least one striker for Rangers this summer and Gue-sung Cho could well be one of them.
The South Korea international Gue-sung Cho was linked in January when Rangers should have addressed the striker issue, however, a deal when the transfer window opens is looking more likely now.
With Alfredo Morelos almost certain to depart, Cho could add the physicality that will be missing from the Gers attack.
The 25-year old would also bring goals.

The Jeonbank Hyudai forward, currently playing in K League 1 in South Korea, scored 25 goals last season including four for his country.
At over 6ft 2inches tall, Gue-sung Cho is capable of leading the line on his own and doing to dirty work to bring teammates into the game, or being used as the focal point for chances.
The sort of flexibility that a Rangers forward needs to juggle the balance between domestic and European football.
To make things better for Rangers cause, Celtic are no longer in the running for his signature having signed Cho’s international colleague Hyeon-gyu Oh.
Our Old Firm rivals were said to have tabled a bid in the region off £2.6m for Cho before moving on to Oh.
During the winter transfer window, Alan Nixon, a well-respected journalist for The Sun who is known predominantly for his transfer stories, suggested that Rangers were the side pushing hardest for Cho’s signature.
The fee, said to be over £3m, might have been an issue in January but quality strikers don’t grow on trees and Rangers should return for a player who impressed during the World Cup against Ghana, Portugal and Brazil.
Cho has a good injury history in that he has never had any serious problems which, if Michael Beale is to build a successful team, will be vital.
Only ever having one striker fit is no use to anyone and the Gers gaffer will be hoping that he can add quality as well as an increased reliability when recruiting the men charged with firing Rangers back to the top of Scottish football.
Cho could well be the one that Michael Beale has his eye on.
