It appears an official decision on Rangers goalkeeper, Jak Alnwick’s loan deal, is imminent.
The 25-year-old was shipped off to Scunthorpe United at the beginning of the season.

The arrival of Allan McGregor shunted him down to third choice keeper, and with young Robby McCrorie waiting in the wings, he was surplus to requirements.
That deal was due to expire at the beginning of that month, but he has not returned to Glasgow.
Alnwick has continued to play for the Iron despite the uncertainty, and has contributed to a mini revival for the League One side.

A month ago, they were staring relegation in the face.

Yet, after Alnwick finally brought an unwanted record to an end, results have turned on their head.
Scunthorpe won five matches in a row, before drawing 1-1 with high-flying Sunderland at the weekend.
They are now 16th in the table.
Today, former Rangers midfielder and now Iron manager, Stuart McCall, expressed his belief that Alnwick would stay put.
“It’s looking positive that we’ll keep him. I believe it’s almost done”, the former Scotland international told BBC Radio Humberside (6:55).

If that transpires, it won’t be the first extension Rangers have agreed to this month.
Zak Rudden and Ryan Hardie lengthened their stints at Falkirk and Livingston, respectively.
